Upgrading, Downgrading & Switching Plans
Threasury gives you full flexibility to start on any plan and change plans anytime as your advertising needs evolve.
This guide explains how plan switching works, what counts as an upgrade or downgrade, and what happens to billing when you change plans.
You Can Start With Any Plan
There are no restrictions on which plan you start with.
- You can begin with the Starter plan
- Or directly choose a platform-specific subscription
- Or start with Threasury Black
You are free to change plans at any time.
Types of Plans at Threasury
Threasury plans are divided into three categories:
A. Starter Plan (Commission-Based)
- One-time onboarding payment
- Commission-based pricing on ad spend
- No monthly subscription
- Best for testing or flexible spenders
- This is the default fallback plan if no subscription is active.
B. Platform-Specific Subscription Plans
These plans give you unlimited access to a specific platform.
Examples:
- Meta Unlimited (Top-Up based)
- Meta Unlimited (Credit Card based)
- TikTok Unlimited
- Snapchat Unlimited
- Google Unlimited
- Pinterest Unlimited
Important rules:
- You can have only one platform plan active at a time
- You can switch between platform plans anytime
- Switching is scheduled, not instant
- The new plan becomes active on your next billing date
C. Threasury Black (Master Plan)
- Unlimited access to all supported platforms
- Single subscription covering everything
- Best for agencies and high-scale advertisers
What Counts as an Upgrade vs Downgrade
Understanding this helps avoid billing confusion.
Upgrade (Instant Switch)
An upgrade happens when you move from a smaller plan to a bigger plan.
Example:
TikTok Unlimited → Threasury Black
What happens:
- Upgrade is instant
- Your unused days from the old plan are calculated
- Remaining value is added as a proration credit
- Your Threasury Black charge is automatically adjusted
- You get access to all platforms immediately.
Downgrade (Scheduled Switch)
A downgrade happens when you move from a bigger plan to a smaller plan.
Examples:
Threasury Black → TikTok Unlimited
Any subscription → Starter Plan
What happens:
- Downgrade is scheduled
- Your current plan remains active until the billing period ends
- New plan starts on the next billing date
- This avoids disruption and double billing.
Switching Between Platform Plans
Example:
Meta Unlimited → TikTok Unlimited
What happens:
- This is treated as a plan switch
- The switch is scheduled
- Meta plan stays active until the billing date
- TikTok plan becomes active on the same billing date
- You are never charged twice.
Cancelling All Subscriptions
If you cancel all active subscription plans:
- You are automatically scheduled to move to the Starter plan
- Starter plan becomes active on the next billing date
- Your account continues on a commission-based model
Important:
You will never lose access to Threasury just because you cancelled subscriptions.
Billing & Safety (Handled by Stripe)
All plan changes are handled by Stripe, which means:
- No double charges
- No manual errors
- Automatic proration on upgrades
- Clean scheduling on downgrades
- Transparent invoices
