Why Onboarding May Be Rejected

At Threasury, we take compliance and platform safety very seriously. To maintain the health of our ecosystem—and to ensure our agency ad accounts stay stable for all advertisers—we manually verify every onboarding request.

In some cases, we may not be able to approve your onboarding.

This article explains the most common reasons why an onboarding request may be rejected and how you can avoid them.

1. Non-Compliant or Restricted Products

Your onboarding may be rejected if the products you sell violate any media channel policies or fall under restricted categories.

Examples include:

  • Counterfeit / replicas / “lookalike” branded products
  • Financial schemes, easy-money promises
  • Supplements that make medical/health claims
  • Adult content or sexually suggestive products
  • Before/after transformations
  • Unrealistic claims (“grow 10cm taller in 1 week”)
  • High-risk nutrition or pharma products

We strictly allow whitehat products only. If your website, product pages, or ad creatives show greyhat or blackhat activities, onboarding will be rejected immediately.

2. History of Ban-Heavy Advertising

If you or your business has a record of repeated:

  • Ad account bans
  • BM bans
  • Page restrictions
  • Policy violations
  • Appeals rejected multiple times

…we may not be able to onboard you, as this can increase the risk on our ecosystem.

3. Incorrect or Incomplete Onboarding Information

Your onboarding can be rejected if:

  • You submit incorrect personal or business details
  • Emails or ID documents don’t match your account
  • You fail to provide required information even after follow-up
  • We cannot verify your identity or business
  • You provide fake or misleading information

All details you submit must match the platform where you will run ads. Mismatched information triggers automatic verification failures.

4. Payment or Financial Risk

We assess whether an advertiser poses potential financial risk. Onboarding may be denied if:

  • You’ve previously triggered payment failures, chargebacks, or misuse
  • You request credit services but cannot meet requirements
  • Your payment method or banking details appear high-risk

5. Unsafe Ad Creative Practices

If your past or current ads include:

  • Aggressive or shocking creatives
  • Claims that violate compliance
  • Misleading images or fear-based messaging
  • Manipulated “before-after” images

…your application may be rejected, even if your product itself is compliant.

6. Duplicate or Suspicious Applications

We may decline onboarding if:

  • You submit multiple applications under different names
  • Your identity cannot be verified
  • Your application appears automated or fraudulent
  • Your activity resembles ban-circumvention behavior

7. Refusal to Agree to Compliance Requirements

We can only onboard advertisers who:

  • Agree to run fully whitehat
  • Follow guidelines provided by our team
  • Commit to adjusting creatives/website if needed

If an advertiser is unwilling to follow these policies, onboarding is not possible.

8. Inactive or Unresponsive Applicants

If we request:

  • Updated product links
  • Creatives
  • Website revisions
  • Additional verification

…and we do not receive a response within a reasonable time, the application may be closed.

We aim to approve as many legitimate advertisers as possible—our goal is not to reject people, but to maintain a stable, compliant advertising environment for all users.

If your onboarding was rejected but you believe your business is compliant, you can reply to the onboarding email with more context, and our team will re-evaluate your case.
