# Compliance Guide (Read Before Requesting an Ad Account)

*(Read this before requesting a new ad account.)*

A common guide for all ad accounts across Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, and Pinterest.

Threasury only provides ad accounts to advertisers who follow **platform advertising policies** and operate **whitehat businesses**. Submitting a request that does not meet these requirements may be delayed or rejected.

### Why this guide matters
Agency ad accounts sit on partner Business Managers. One non-compliant advertiser can put many accounts at risk. Reading this first speeds up approvals and keeps accounts stable.

### 1. Whitehat products only
**Allowed examples**
* Ecommerce brands with real products
* SaaS tools
* Education platforms and coaching / info-products (non-misleading)
* Legitimate services with clear value
* Digital products without misleading claims
* General wellness (skincare, basic vitamins without medical claims)

**Not allowed**
* Counterfeit, replica, or IP-infringing items
* “Get rich quick” or guaranteed-income offers
* Adult / sexual content; OF / cam-model management
* Gambling or real-money gaming
* AI companion / roleplay apps
* RUO peptides
* Dating (including niche dating): not allowed on any platform or region
* Pharma, prescription drugs, OTC medication
* Weight-loss coaching unless 100% clean with zero claims
* Cloaking or review bypass

**Grey-hat requests** are reviewed **case by case**. We do not promise approval, and we do not promise a workaround. If you want accounts that bypass platform policies, we will decline.

### 2. Health, beauty & wellness
Beauty, skincare, supplements, and wellness are sensitive on Meta.

**Not allowed**
* Medical or therapeutic claims (“cures”, “treats”, “reverses”)
* Guaranteed or permanent results
* Disease or disorder targeting
* Weight-loss, fat-loss, or muscle-gain claims

General wellness without medical claims can run on any region. Supplements **with** medical claims are not available on every region and must be reviewed before we confirm anything.

### 3. Before / after images
Before/after creatives are **not automatically banned**, but they are high-risk.

They may be allowed only if **all** of these are true:
* Cosmetic or surface-level change (makeup, styling), not biological
* No body transformation, no timelines, no guarantees
* No medical or health implications

**Not allowed:** weight loss, muscle gain, skin-tone change, acne “cures”, hair regrowth, stretch-mark removal, aging reversal, extreme contrast, AI-altered bodies.

### 4. Discounts and offer language
* In **ad creatives**: maximum **50%** discount
* On the **website**: a higher discount can be shown
* Words like **“closing sale”** (and similar urgency-sale framing) are **not allowed anywhere**: ads or website

### 5. Website requirements
Your website must include:
* Clear product or service descriptions
* About Us, contact information
* Refund / return policy and Terms
* A secure payment gateway (do not collect payments directly on a lander)

It must **not** look unfinished or auto-generated, hide pricing or identity, or make exaggerated claims. Meta reviews the **whole website**, not only the product you plan to advertise: outright blackhat items anywhere on the site can get the request declined.

### 6. Page requirements
Your Page must be published, free of policy violations, aligned with the website, and properly branded.

### 7. Ad copy & creatives
Avoid fear/guilt messaging, personal attributes (“Are you overweight?”), and shock content. Use neutral, feature-focused, realistic claims.

### 8. No policy circumvention
Do not cloak, switch domains to bypass review, or game the systems.

### 9. What we review before issuing an account
* Product category and website
* Risk and compliance signals
* Domain previously used with another agency is **fine**
* Mixed catalogs are OK only if restricted items will not be advertised **and** the site has no blackhat products at all

Requests may be delayed or rejected if issues are found. If we cannot onboard a product, we will tell you why when we can, and we can look at **other compliant products** you have.

### 10. If compliance is violated later
1. Stop immediately when we flag it
2. If not stopped within **2 hours**, we pause campaigns
3. A repeat of the same/similar violation can mean campaigns are deleted
4. Replacement accounts are not guaranteed. Compliance-related deductions are **not refundable**. Repeated violations can mean permanent offboarding.
