Compliance Guide (Read Before Requesting an Ad Account)

(Read Before Requesting a new Ad Account)

A common guide for all ad accounts across our supported media channels.

At Threasury, we only provide ad accounts to advertisers who follow advertising policies and operate fully compliant, whitehat businesses.

This guide applies to all advertising platforms supported by Threasury, including Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Google, and others.

This guide helps:

  • Speed up ad account approvals
  • Prevent bans and restrictions
  • Maintain platform trust
  • Set clear expectations upfront

Submitting an ad account request without meeting these requirements may result in rejection.

This guide explains:

  • What is allowed
  • What is not allowed
  • What we review before approving your ad account request

Please read this carefully before applying.

Why This Guide Is Important

Agency ad accounts operate under stricter compliance standards than regular accounts.

Even a single non-compliant advertiser can put multiple accounts at risk.

This guide helps:

  • Speed up approvals
  • Prevent bans and restrictions
  • Keep the ecosystem stable
  • Set clear expectations upfront

Applications that do not meet these requirements may be rejected.

1. Only Whitehat Products Are Allowed

We approve ad accounts only for legitimate, policy-compliant businesses.

Allowed examples

  • Ecommerce brands with real products
  • SaaS tools
  • Education platforms
  • Legitimate services with clear value
  • Digital products without misleading claims

Not allowed

  • Counterfeit or replica products
  • IP-infringing items
  • “Get rich quick” or guaranteed income offers
  • Adult or sexual content
  • Gambling or betting offers
  • Fraudulent or misleading services

Zero tolerance: Greyhat products are not allowed, even if they worked previously.

2. Health, Beauty & Wellness Products (High-Risk Category)

Beauty, skincare, supplements, and wellness products are highly sensitive on Facebook.

Strictly not allowed

  • Medical or therapeutic claims
  • Claims of curing or treating conditions
  • Guaranteed or permanent results
  • References to diseases or disorders
  • Weight loss, fat loss, muscle gain claims

If you sell skincare, cosmetics, or wellness products:

  • Claims must be generic and non-medical
  • Language must be informational, not transformative

3. Before / After Images — Important Clarification

Before/after creatives are not automatically banned, but they are high-risk and allowed only in very limited cases.

Before/after images MAY be allowed only if ALL conditions are met:

  • Product is cosmetic or surface-level (e.g. makeup, skincare, grooming)
  • Change shown is visual or styling-based, not biological
  • No implication of body or physical transformation
  • No timelines (“in 7 days”, “after 2 weeks”)
  • No guarantees or permanent-result claims
  • No medical or health implications

Examples that are generally acceptable

  • Makeup before vs after application
  • Hair styling before vs after (cut, curl, styling — not regrowth)
  • Grooming or cosmetic appearance changes
  • Subtle skincare texture improvements (without claims)

Before/after images are NOT allowed if they show or imply:

  • Weight loss or fat reduction
  • Muscle gain or body reshaping
  • Skin tone change
  • Acne “cures” or condition treatment
  • Hair regrowth or baldness reversal
  • Stretch mark removal
  • Aging reversal

Also not allowed

  • Extreme contrast or manipulated lighting
  • Edited or AI-altered bodies
  • Zoomed-in “problem areas”
  • Personal-attribute messaging (“If you suffer from acne…”)

Even compliant-looking before/after ads are reviewed more strictly and may face delivery issues. When in doubt, avoid using them.

4. Website Compliance Requirements

Your website is reviewed before account approval.

Your website must include

  • Clear product or service descriptions
  • About Us page
  • Contact information
  • Refund / Return Policy
  • Terms & Conditions

Your website must NOT

  • Appear unfinished or auto-generated
  • Contain fake testimonials
  • Make exaggerated or misleading claims
  • Hide pricing or business identity

5. Page Requirements

Your Page must be:

  • Published (not unpublished)
  • Free from policy violations
  • Aligned with your website and products
  • Properly branded (name, profile image, cover)

If your Page is unpublished or restricted, ads will not deliver — even if the ad account is active.

6. Ad Copy & Creative Guidelines

Avoid

  • Fear-based or guilt-based messaging
  • Personal attributes (“Are you overweight?”)
  • Shock content

Best practices

  • Neutral, informational language
  • Feature-focused messaging
  • Realistic, verifiable claims
  • Clean, simple creatives

7. No Policy Circumvention

You must NOT:

  • Cloak content or redirect misleadingly
  • Switch domains to bypass reviews
  • Attempt to game the systems

8. Account History & Risk Assessment

We evaluate risk based on:

  • Past ad account or BM bans
  • Payment failures or chargebacks
  • Suspicious activity patterns

High-risk history may limit new ad account issuance

9. What We Review Before Approving Your Ad Account

Before issuing a ad account, we review:

  • Product category
  • Website quality and compliance
  • Risk and compliance signals

Requests may be delayed or rejected if issues are found.

10. What Happens If Compliance Is Violated Later

If violations occur after approval:

  • Ads may be paused
  • Ad account access may be removed
  • Replacement accounts may not be issued
  • Rewards and benefits may be revoked

Repeated violations can result in permanent offboarding.
